Didier Desvignes has succeeded in his aim to create a deliciously aromatic Fleurie. His gamay grapes, picked from vines on pink granite, undergo a whole week of carbonic maceration. Aromas of violets lead on to supple flavours of ripe red fruits.

The smallest of the Côte Chalonnaise villages, Givry produces soft earthy pinot noirs for drinking young, even lightly chilled. This has the aroma of raspberry, lavender and fresh mint, then a silky texture on the palate, and a clean lip-smacking finish.
